Will County is committed to supporting the response to and recovery from COVID-19. The County, using the allocation of over $134 million from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF), a part of the American Rescue Plan.
On September 8, 2022, the Will County Executive Committee approved the Economic Development Grant Program offering $10 million in funds for entities to apply for to support programs addressing negative economic impacts of the pandemic and to provide direct aid to industries impacted by the pandemic. The application has closed.
